ResumoNumerous songs and literary works thematize various marginalized personages.Among these, we have the image of the trickster, that person who, despite committing small contraventions, relativizes the logic of modernization.The rogue, besides participating in the occupation of the urban space in an errant way, usually presents a life marked by great vulnerabilities.Despite this, the trickster develops certain skills and abilities as a result of the need to overcome the ills he encounters throughout his life.Worthy of mention is the archetype of the rogues incorporated into the entity of religious syncretism called Zé Pelintra.In some artistic productions, as in the popular imaginary, the entity is considered capable of breaking with the fetters that imprison the weak and the oppressed.Thus, Zé Pelintra seeks escape routes and slips through the mechanisms of capture and exclusion of dominant groups for the sake of a life free from the impositions and segregations imposed upon it.In order to think such questions, a work will be presented based on the comparative literature and will borrow some concepts from authors of philosophy and cultural studies, such as
