RESUMO : Com o aparato teorico-metodologico da Sociolinguistica Variacionista (LABOV, 1972), este trabalho teve o objetivo de investigar as semelhancas ou dessemelhancas a respeito do uso variavel das regencias dos verbos assistir e namorar no portugues falado em Luanda-Angola, comparando os resultados alcancados com o uso das regencias desses verbos no Portugues Brasileiro (PB). Esta analise busca trazer subsidios para melhor se entender a formacao da realidade sociolinguistica brasileira, haja vista que pode lancar novas luzes a respeito da importância do contato linguistico na formacao da identidade linguistica do portugues falado no Brasil. Esta pesquisa busca novos campos, fazendo um paralelo entre o PB e as linguas faladas em outras ex-colonias de Portugal, a exemplo de Angola, tentando explicar as peculiaridades e a formacao do PB, por meio de estudos das regencias em debate. Nesse sentido, esta pesquisa visa preencher uma lacuna, no sentido de nao so comparar os dados do PB com os do Portugues Europeu (PE), mas tambem com o portugues falado em outras ex-colonias portuguesas, a exemplo de Angola, visando medir o peso do contato linguistico. ABSTRACT : Based on the theoretical-methodological apparatus of Variationist Sociolinguistics (LABOV, 1972) this research aimed to investigate similarities or dissimilarities comparing the results achieved with the use of verbal rules on the Brazilian Portuguese (BP).This analysis seeks to provide support for a better understanding about the formation of the Brazilian sociolinguistic reality. This research seeks new fields, doing a parallel between BP and the languages spoken in other former Portuguese colonies, like Angola, attempting to explain some peculiarities and the formation of the BP, through studies of regencies in debate. Thus, this research aims to fill a gap, not only to comparing the data obtained as European Portuguese, but also with the Portuguese spoken in other former Portuguese colonies, as Angola, in order to measure the weight of linguistic contact.
