ResumoThe paper describes the concept of a novel measurement system designed for quick and inexpensive measurement of tolerances and assessment of roundness, especially suitable for the motor industry.The structure of measurement system and its algorithm of measurement data analysis are described in detail.The system underwent tests with the setting (master) rings of known tolerances and out-of-roundness.The results were compared with those obtained from the reference device PIK-2.The tested system exhibited a very good accuracy and proved to be a good measurement tool.It was implemented in the industrial enterprise.
