espanol“Fotografiar es colocar la cabeza, el ojo y el corazon en un mismo eje”. Esta frase de Henri Cartier-Bresson expresa con nitidez lo que para el es fotografiar. En primer lugar, la condicion abstracta de la mente. En segundo lugar, la tecnica presente en nuestro ojo y en el objetivo de la camara. Y, finalmente, la incorporacion del corazon en nuestro trabajo, la necesidad de que el elemento fotografiado sea capaz de activar nuestras emociones. Este articulo se hace deudor del texto de Cartier-Bresson y se estructura en tres partes, relacionadas con la cabeza, el ojo y el corazon. Pero es sobre todo una excusa para reflexionar sobre el modo de abrir los ojos al mundo que nos rodea. Desde el dibujo, desde la realidad construida o desde la fotografia. English“To photograph is to place the head, the eye and the heart in the same axis”.1 This sentence of Henri Cartier-Bresson expresses with clarity what is, for him, to photograph. First, the abstract condition of the mind. Secondly, the technique present in our eye and in the objective of the camera. And, finally, the incorporation of the heart in our work, the fact that the element photographed is able to activate our emotions. This article is in debt to the text of CartierBresson and is structured in three parts, related to the head, the eye and the heart. But it is above all an excuse to reflect on how to open our eyes to the world around us. From drawing, from built reality or from photography.
