ResumoLaser shock peening (LSP) experiments were conducted on an AZ31B Mg alloy sheet. The results show that the room-temperature stretch formability of Mg alloy sheet can be enhanced by LSP, particularly through an integrated texture weakening and grain refinement effect induced by the laser shock loading.
