Resumo

Given the high population growth and scarcity of water resources in the Northeast region (Brazil), the use of water for purposes other than human consumption is being evaluated. With the purpose of providing a sustainable destination to the waters coming from the sewage treatment process, this work investigates the applicability of the recovered water, collected at the exit of the tertiary treatment of the Guadalajara station, as kneading water in the civil construction.Full compliance was observed in the analysis of the water under study with the norm NBR 15.900.Cylindrical specimens of concrete were produced, and tests of resistance to axial compression were performed at 3, 7, 28 and 91 days, as well as tests of voids index, absorption and specific mass.Through the ANOVA statistical test, it was observed that there was no significant difference in the values presented in the tests performed.
