Resumo

In the last years, there has been an increasing of diagnoses denouncing a crisis of journalism, as both business model and actor in the constitution of the public space in the democratic societies. However, such diagnoses seem to neglect that the belief in a “traditional paradigm of journalism” – and in its crisis – lacks deeply of historicity. In this paper, we develop a reflection on the construction of that supposed paradigm to enquire if that “crisis” is really of journalism itself or, actually, of the ways of comprehending it.
