ResumoThe influence of various types (permanent magnetic and electromagnetic fields) and parameters of magnetic treatment (induction value, time, temperature) on the efficiency of demulsification of water-in-oil emulsions in dynamic mode was studied. The objects studies were samples of commercial emulsions obtained from oil production facilities, differing in their composition and properties. The experimental data showing the possibility of separation of the aqueous and oil phases of commercial emulsions of different composition and water content by magnetic treatment are presented. It was found that both a permanent magnetic field and an electromagnetic field contribute to the demulsification of emulsions without the use of demulsifiers (the content of water in oil after magnetic treatment is less than 1 wt %). As a result of exposure of water-in-oil emulsion samples to permanent magnetic and electromagnetic fields with an induction of 0.3–0.6 T, up to 99% of water contained in the original sample was separated.
