Polyoxometalates: Synthesis and Applications

The stabilization of the unprecedented cyclohexane-like [P4Se10]4- ligand in the layered K2Cu2P4Se10 has been achieved. The layers consist of infinite chains of corner-sharing CuSe4 tetrahedra that propagate along the b axis, being interstitched in two dimensions by cyclic [P4Se10]4- groups.
