ResumoThe synthesis and structure of a new gallium phosphate is described; the framework structure consists of four-, five-, and six-coordinated Ga atoms linked by phosphate groups to form eight -membered rings that house the rubidium cations and water molecules, and which are connected to give rise to infinite channels with eight-membered windows along [100].
