ResumoESAB’s early years are inextricably linked with its founder, Oscar Kjellberg. The inventions, the formation of Elektriska Svetsningsaktiebolaget (ESAB), establishing the ESAB brand overseas were the life’s work of this extraordinary individual. Since 1904,various authors have written histories of ESAB. But Kjellberg,' the man, has always been overshadowed by his achievements. So, who was he? And what drove and motivated him?
