Resumo

This article aims to identify the Critical Success Factors (CSF) of learning management of undergraduate distance courses of a Higher Education Institution in Brazil, in this case, the Federal University of Ceará - Virtual FUC, in the vision of its main actors and subjects, that is, academic managers, students and teachers / tutors. It addresses as theoretical foundation conceptual aspects about learning management, it also presents the DE scenario in Brazil and public education policies, emphasizing the program of the Open University of Brazil (OUB). It is characterized as a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, using an online questionnaire as a research tool. The sample consisted of 4 course managers, 20 tutors and 50 students from the poles (Fortaleza, Caucaia, Russas and Quixadá) enrolled in the last semesters courses, making a total of 74 respondents. Eleven Critical Success Factors and the availability of a support library with course support material was considered the most relevant factor for the success of learning management. It is concluded that the General Coordination of the courses in DE needs to improve working conditions at the poles and seek means of integration with the main subjects of the methodology in DE.
