ResumoAbstract Dehydrogenative silylation of ketones with 1,2-bis(dimethylsilyl)ethane is catalyzed by a mixture of RhCl3(pybox) and AgOTf to form the corresponding silylenol ether in high yields. Only one Si-H group of 1,2-bis(dimethylsilyl)ethane is converted to the corresponding silyl enol ether.
