Early Modern Women Writers

The Society of Jesus and its global performance in the Modern Age is the focus of this international and global historiography research. This article aims to present to the academic community in Brazil the results of some studies performed recently in Germany on the Jesuits from Central Europe who worked in the Portuguese and Spanish Americas. All of these studies are related to a research project based in the University of Mainz, in Germany.
