Introduction: Cardiac computed tomography (CCT) is indicated to exclude coronary artery disease (CAD) in patients with low to intermediate pretest probability of CAD.After CCT some patients have indication to do an invasive coronary angiography.The aim of this study is to evaluate the patients who have done a CCT after coronary invasive angiography, without revascularization.Methods: Retrospective study of 2406 consecutive pts referred to CCT, at a single institution, we evaluate demographic, clinical variables and indications.Results: 3pts (1man, 60 ±10 years) did CCT after coronary invasive angiography without revascularization, the indications were better coronary anomalies characterization in two pts and exclude left main occlusion in one patient. Conclusion:In this group of pts CCT after coronary invasive angiography without revascularization, occurs in 0.1%.It was a correct indication and helps in the orientation of this pts.ACCF/SCCT/ACR/AHA 2010 appropriate use criteria for cardiac CT does not consider, or incorporate, CCT after invasive coronary angiography without revascularization, perhaps it should be in count in future for a select group of pts.
