ResumoDespite the existence of practical procedures to obtain global critical buckling stresses of stiffened plates, most part of them is limited to specific cases of geometry.Therefore, this work aimed to study the elastic buckling behavior of plated structures by a comprehensive approach, which can be extended to different geometry cases.In this sense, a numerical model was built and validated with numerical results found in the literature.Thus, a parametric study was performed and the global critical buckling stresses of web panels stiffened by one and two longitudinal stiffeners with different thicknesses were determined.Finally, the numerical results were compared to the results provided by EN1993-1-5:2006 code and EBPlate 2.01 program.
