ResumoThe aviation industry is growing at a rapid pace worldwide. However, with the growing numbers, the aviation industry has also contributed to environmental degradation over the past few years. This issue needs attention as various agencies and scholars all over the world are trying to find means of protecting the environment. Therefore, there is a growing need to develop green and sustainable airports, which have minimal impact on the environment. With this in focus, this research has been taken up to explore the criteria for evaluating the green performance of airports. A hybrid of Best Worst Method (BWM) and VlseKriterijuska Optimizacija I Komoromisno Resenje (VIKOR) methodologies has been employed to calculate the weight of different criteria and rank the airports accordingly. Green policies and regulations are the most important performance criteria for green airports.
