Resumo

In a sample of 60 female students in the fourth grade of the primary school in Sombor and Kljajicevo the research was conducted in order to determine whether there is a difference in the structure of their motor abilities. The sample consisted of students of primary school 'Nikola Tesla' in Kljajicevo (rural area) and primary school 'Dositej Obradovic' from Sombor (urban area) aged 10.5 years. The structure of motor abilities of 10.5-year-old girls was examined by factor analysis, after which six latent dimensions were established. Actual stability of the latent dimensions of motor control circuit confirmed the structure of the motor variables derived by oblimin rotation of the principal components method. By defining the six factors we get the general factors of frequency of motion, strength, balance, accuracy, efficiency and flexibility of the hand. In the last three decades, the structure has been frequently analyzed with different systems of variables and different methodological procedures. The results of this study show that 'there is a differentiation of motor abilities of fourth grade female students' which confirms the hypothesis of this research.
