Resumo

It is reported that CaTi1-xScxO3-δ (CTS, x=0.05, 0.1) shows higher oxide ionic conductivity than conventional solid electrolyte, 8YSZ. Since CTS has also low density (c.a. 4 kg/cm3) compared with 8YSZ (c.a. 6 kg/cm3), Ni-CTS anode cermet will contribute to weight saving of SOFC stacks for vehicle applications such as airplane APU. In this study, ionic conductivity of CTS is tried to be improved by optimization of Sc dopant concentration. Additionally, Ni-CTS anode formation processing is examined by solid- state reaction method and glycine nitrate method.
