Urban parks are green areas oriented to the landscaping, environmental preservation and leisure of the population, contribute to the occupation of the soil. Parque Macambira-Anicuns is located in Goiânia, on the banks of the Macambira and Ribeirao Anicuns streams. The objective of the article was to evaluate the actions proposed in the Planning of the Linear Park and the perception of the residents of the surroundings about their implementation. The methodology involved a visit to the park and a questionnaire applied to the residents of the area. The results showed that the park added social, environmental and economic value, although the population emphasizes necessary adjustments, which can be effected through public policies, especially to develop the culture of the public good's belonging to society.
