ResumoCurrently, there is a search for the expansion of pedagogical practices and didactic resources, which contribute to a greater success in the history teachinglearning relationship.Given this concern, this article analyzes the pedagogical possibilities for the teaching of history from the audiovisual content available at the Train Museum in Recife.The trajectory traveled in this work is part of the comprehension of the teaching of history and its pedagogical practices, in the sequence discusses the museum as a tool for the teaching of history, and then to analyze the case study.Thus, it is understood that the museum presents itself as a relevant space for the teaching of history, mainly due to the different languages presented, enabling a critical and participatory reflection in the process of knowledge construction.
