Resumo

In this research, the relationship between the self-perception of the students who get professional musical education towards instruments and their permanent optimal performance emotional state is analyzed.The research is completed in a descriptive quality according to correlational survey model.Scales are applied to 589 conservatory and department of music education students.As data collection tools, "Personal Information Form", "Self-perception Scale towards Instruments" and "State and Permanent Optimal Performance Emotional State Scale-2" are used.In the collected data, it is found that gender, educational status of the family, type of graduated high-school, playing the instrument and the duration of playing, personal instrument success grades and concert performances directly affect the level of self-perceptions of students who get professional musical education towards instruments.It is also stated that there is a positive and significant relationship between students' self-perceptions towards instruments and their permanent optimal performance emotional states.
