Her Masters thesis, Transgressive Corporealities (Université du Québec à Montréal), examined representations of the body in works by visual artists Kiki Smith and Mona Hatoum, and performer/choreographer Marie Chouinard. Tamar's current research focuses on cultural policy and the framing of contemporary interdisciplinary arts practices.
