ResumoThe article is focused on the general and instrumental survey of historical translucent structures in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in 2018. It is shown that they don’t complying with the current requirements, neither in heat transfer resistance nor in air permeability. The improvement recommendations have been developed. It is noted that in case of preservation of metal window frames (according to the requirements of the law on protection of cultural heritage sites) the largescale computer calculations should be performed to determine the best ways of window restoration.
