ResumoDear JCL readers, you may have already noticed that this issue does not contain a Roundtable discussion. Many have told me it's their favorite part of each issue. Actually we have one unfinished Roundtable and 3 more raw transcripts lined up–discussions on icosapent ethyl and other omega 3s, South Asian cardiovascular risk, ethnic diets, and low carb diets. But editing takes time, because the raw transcripts resemble hash, which makes you wonder how we ever understand each other in conversation. To ensure no pre-publication leaks after the initial editing, the raw transcript goes into a top-secret server in a hidden location known only to a few. Two or three rounds of edits with co-authors follow. So whose fault is the lack of a Roundtable in the present issue? I'm reminded of words I once sang lustily with mates at an NLA karaoke, here paraphrasing Jimmy Buffet – “Some people claim that there's a colleague/staff member to blame, but I know–ta-ta-ta-ta-dah–it's my own damn fault.” And I'm sorry. It won't happen again.
