ResumoThroughout the ages, different peoples, in different places, have developed studies of the parable in canonical form and as a geometric place.The purpose of this text is to present some of the approaches this subject is treated in the textbooks provided by PNLD 2018.The purpose is to awaken in the reader the interest in evaluating the potentialities and the challenges to the study of the parable in the canonical form and as a geometric place in the context of the teaching-learning process.And also encourage the study to be carried out using technological tools, such as GeoGebra software.At the end of the article two use cases will be presented
