Mexican Socioeconomic and Environmental Dynamics

This article show the work and conceptions of María Candelaria Pech Witz, x-men of Calkini (Campeche, Mexico). Several conversations and the observation of many healing (of terrains and persons) permitted to give a good vision of XXX’s conceptions. The active participation of María Candelaria Pech Witz conduced to the necessity to sign this article with the anthropologist. Her words and healings permit to show the knowledge of the meno’ob (men and women, h-meno’ob y x-meno’ob) of the Yucatan Peninsula but also indicate, en many aspects, a specificity and a new light on this María Candelaria Pech Witz is a x-men and not only direct rain ceremonies or agricultural ceremonies (hanlikol), but also has male disciples show the importance, specifically in this region, inherited of the ancient kingdom of Calakmul, of women priests and healers.
