This article aimed to develop a cost spreadsheet based on the National Supply Company methodology to assist small producers in the management of their rural properties.The development of the cost spreadsheet performed in Microsoft Excel platform, in order to detail the constituent elements for automated filling of costs.Also in this sense, a simulation performed with a vegetable producer from Ilha Solteira, São Paulo state, to have better expose the results in their interpretation.The study found that the producer obtained viability in his activity, presenting a profit of 70%, as well as the fact that the spreadsheet is a tool easy to access and use in computers, which provides better planning, organization and control of the corresponding activities to the production cycle.It concluded that informatics could act as an important tool in cost management, contributing to a better management and definition of investments in the productive system.
