ResumoCultural expressions and educational practices: educational possibilities in different contexts Resumo O principal objetivo desse artigo e apresentar e analisar aspectos das dimensoes educativa e cultural da festa de Sao Joao de Corumba, em Mato Grosso do Sul. A necessidade dessa interlocucao nasceu dos estudos da pesquisa “A educacao no processo de constituicao de sujeitos: o dito nas producoes e o feito no cotidiano”. Os dados provieram de entrevistas com professoras que vivem e trabalham na regiao do Pantanal-MS, e foram analisados sob os postulados da Teoria Historico-Cultural. Conclui-se que nas festas populares se estabelece a comunicacao entre o local e o universal, permitindo uma educacao intrinseca a diferentes espacos, tempos e contextos. Palavras-chave: Educacao. Abstract Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to present and analyze aspects of the educational and cultural dimensions of Sao Joao’s party, that occur in Corumba, of Mato Grosso do Sul. This dialogue was born from the studies realized by the research named “The education as a process of the subject constitution: the said in the works and the done in everyday life”. The data came from interviews of teachers that live and work in Pantanal, Mato Grosso do Sul. The informations was analysed under the postulates of Historical-Cultural Theory. We conclude that the popular parties to establish communication between the local and universal, allowing different intrinsic education spaces, times and contexts. Keywords: Education. Culture.
