Resumo

The teaching of Physics in Brazil has not yet been able to make a real connection between what is seen in classroom and the daily life of students. This work aims to analyze the feasibility of using a robotic platform in the learning of concepts about Waves, having an Arduino board as support. We apply the theories of constructivism (Jean Piaget) and constructionism (Seymour Papert) with the premises of educational robotics as the basis for this work. The activities were carried out in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará, with classes of integrated technical high school in the courses of Informatics and Mechanics. The collection of information was obtained through an activity performed by the students after they had used and manipulated the robotic platform. As results, we observed that the students faced difficulties in realizing how many functions the platform had performed according to its frequency of operation, but by manipulating the platform, the doubts that existed about the theory were answered with the practice. We notice that the experimental activity causes the student to confront their ability to concentrate and to counter the idea that this moment is just fun, and that would attract the students only by the novelty
