ResumoEnglishWith this article we intend to systematize the transtemporal memories of the confines mythos, in a voyage since remote times and until the last consummation of the marked phenomena, being the sole specificity of Sintra’s topos and its singular geography the end of the world’s and the end of the Mediterranean Sea’s duplicity. We have also seeked in the same context to stress Sintra foi its microclimate as one of the Fortunate Islands, whose Islamic wonders inherent to the place were famous by its excentricity, without forgetting the horses as children of the wind of Romanity. portuguesCom este artigo pretende-se sistematizar as memorias transtemporais dos mitos dos confins, numa viagem desde epocas remotas e ate a consumacao ultima dos fenomenos assinalados, ou seja, a especificidade unica do topos sintrense e da sua singular geografia na duplicidade do fim do mundo e do fim do Mediterrâneo. Procurou-se, tambem, e no mesmo contexto, acentuar Sintra pelo seu microclima, como uma das Ilhas dos Afortunados, cujas maravilhas islâmicas inerentes ao lugar eram afamadas pela sua excentricidade, sem olvidar os cavalos como filhos do vento da Romanidade
