Resumo

• After participating in YEAH!, students increased the number of days they were physically active for at least 60 min. • After participating in YEAH!, students' perceptions of 'peer support for healthy behaviors' increased. • African American/Black and Latino students reduced their weekly consumption of fast-food after YEAH! advocacy training. • Urban and suburban students' intake of fruits and vegetables improved after YEAH! training while rural students declined. • After YEAH!, suburban students felt the most confident about the efficacy of their group to influence adults.
