The teaching of natural sciences as a possibility of interculturality of indigenous knowledge on Amazonian plants Resumo O artigo discute o Ensino de Ciencias Naturais em uma escola indigena e o possivel intercruzamento de saberes neste contexto. A abordagem metodologica foi a qualitativa e os dados foram coletados a partir da observacao in loco, da entrevista semiestruturada com uma especialista Tentehar e de questionarios respondidos por duas professoras e por dez alunos do nono ano. Dentre os resultados, as professoras indicaram que as aulas de Ciencias Naturais poderiam acontecer a partir da observacao das experiencias cotidianas dos discentes. Os alunos afirmaram que conteudos sobre plantas medicinais, rituais, festas, dancas, matas e rios deveriam ser inclusos no curriculo escolar e a especialista Tentehar assegurou que a assistencia primaria a saude na aldeia e realizada por mulheres indigenas usando plantas medicinais, tendo, algumas vezes, a interferencia do Xama. Abstract The article discusses the teaching of Natural Sciences in an indigenous school and the possible interweaving of knowledge in this context. The methodological approach was qualitative and the data collection was made from on-site observation, semistructured interview with a Tentehar specialist and questionnaires answered by two teachers and ten students from ninth-grade. Among the results, the teachers indicated that the Natural Sciences classes could be based on observation of the daily experiences of the students. The students affirmed that the contents on medicinal plants, rituals, parties, dances, forests and rivers should be included in the school curriculum and the specialist Tentehar assured that the primary health care in the village is carried out by indigenous women and with medicinal plants, with interference from the shaman in some occasions.
