ResumoIn the oil extraction process, drilling fluids can create a thin layer on the walls of the oil well known as filter cake. Its removal is essential for proper cementation between the coating and the rock formation. In this work, microemulsion systems based on produced water were formulated containing nonionic surfactants of different degrees of ethoxylation for cleaning the plaster of olefin-based drilling fluid. An experimental planning of Scheffé net was carried out showing the total efficiency of removing filter cake (100%) in 80.5s. Studies on thermogravimetry, wettability, cement compatibility and compressibility analysis have shown that the systems are suitable for the conditions required in oil wells.
