espanolEl trabajo intenta rescatar el espiritu del antiguo presidio de Ushuaia y lograr que se convierta en el nuevo centro generador de servicios, actividades productivas, turisticas, educativas y culturales que Ushuaia necesita. No se trata de solo preservarlo desde el punto de vista historico sino tambien de realizar un rescate integral tanto del inmueble como de las funciones que alli se desarrollaron, a fin de darle un nuevo valor a traves de los usos previstos, la interaccion presidio- comunidad, y la relacion con los turistas. EnglishThis document describes a project whose aim is to coach the spirit of the former prison in Ushuaia which shall be refurbished so that it may become the cultural, educational and tourism center Ushuaia needs, the goal is not only to preserve the building as well as the activities that used to be carried out there, so that it will acquire full value through the community and the relationship with the tourists.
