Health promotion of people with disabilities or reduced mobility to a range of public spaces represents a challenge for the education of undergraduate students. This study aims to characterize Health Promotion themes related to online communication about the Project “Praia sem Barreiras”. The study is an hemerographic document analysis of 185 online news analyzed according to the modality theme and lexicon. The final corpus contained 44 on line news and 5 main categories: “emphasis on social inclusion”, “health and leisure services”, “construction of interacting and adaptive environments”, “use of assisting technologies” and “construction of equitable opportunities. The study highlighted health promotion actions of people with disabilities or reduced mobility focusing on their access to beaches through an interdisciplinary and intersectoral partnership with the University.
