Methodology: This is a literature review study that aims to identify factors related to the mental health of nursing and health professionals in general in the face of the COVID pandemic19. Results: After applying the filters, eight articles remained, of which it was necessary to read them in full. Thus, our final exhibition was composed of five articles. Final Considerations: Close contact with patients contaminated with COVID19 and direct exposure to patients' physical and psychological suffering, makes frontline nurses more likely to suffer from psychological problems arising from stress, thus indicating the need for performance of a multidisciplinary team, with these professionals so that they can continue providing care efficiently and effectively.
