Resumo

The arguments and methods previously given have been converted into a full set of programs for the 360/91 or 360/195 computers. The input data is a tape (Photo-Scan or Boiler and Chivens) bearing optical density values (the image function , obtained by a scanning micro-densitometer. Program XFøRM obtains the Fourier transform of a selected data square (2 M × 2 M points, where M ≤ 11) and deposits the resulting on disk and/or tape. Program SPEC obtains the power spectrum of the data and deposits it on disk and/or tape. Program FILT analyzes by the methods of Refs. 1 and 2 to obtain the required approximation to the Wiener filter function , which is then deposited on disk and/or tape.
