Resumo

The aim of this study is to discuss the application of the concepts defined in the National Course Examination (ENADE) associated with the quality of education offered by Higher Education Institutions in the Accounting Sciences course.For this, the results of the results in ENADE 2015 were compared, with the performance of the Sufficiency Examination applied by the Federal Accounting Council (CFC) in 2017.193 HEIs that obtained concepts 4 and 5 in ENADE were selected, as upper ranges by INEP.Organizational (public and private) and academic organizations (Universities, University Centers, Colleges and the Federal Institute) were carried out.The results showed that more than 50% of these HEIs have a low percentage of approval in the CFC sufficiency exam, with emphasis on the low performance of isolated colleges and private HEIs.
