ResumoThis article intends to identify the linguistic variations present in the film Lisbela and Prisioneiro (2003), which is happening in the Northeast.For this, we selected five dialogues of this cinematographic work, to analyze the linguistic variations contained in each fragment of the speeches of the characters, focusing on their speeches; as well as to verify which are the social factors that conditioned such modifications and to ascertain the linguistic prejudice resulting from them.In this way, we will reflect, in the linguistic scope, on particularities of the language as regionalisms, pronunciation, slang, among others.We will also use the theory of variation, which adopts the coexistence of variants present in the social environment, also analyzing the probability with which these variants appear, highlighting the main ones.
