espanolLos efectos beneficiosos del agua de Fuente Amargosa de Tolox (Malaga) se conocen desde antiguo. En este articulo hemos realizado una recopilacion de la historia del Balneario a traves de diferentes fuentes bibliograficas, y de comentarios y escritos de numerosos aguistas que han recibido tratamiento y viajeros que han pasado por esos lares. Incluimos un breve estudio de su situacion, clima, flora, fauna y agricultura, geologia, analisis, caracteristica del agua, instalaciones del Balneario y tratamientos. EnglishThe beneficial effects of the water from Fuente Amargosa de Tolox (Malaga) have been known since ancient times. In this article we have made a compilation of the history of the Spa through different bibliographical sources, and comments and writings of numerous agustists who have received treatment and travelers who have passed through those places. We include a brief study of its situation, climate, flora, fauna and agriculture, geology, analysis, water characteristics, Spa facilities and treatments.
