Discourse Analysis in Language Studies

This study focuses on the analysis of the model discourse of the ultramontane ideology in corpus of the newspaper O Bom Ladrao, and the establishment of predicative relations in this discursive space. The verbs present behavior related to the discursive production according to the intentionality of the enunciator, consubstanciando in linguistic phenomenon fluid imbricated with the discursive organization and, therefore, denunciator of information that contribute to the (re) construction of the memory. For the analysis, the theories related to the study of discourse were adopted, showing itself in the linguistic and identity practices constructing the cultural and discursive memory of the Marian region. It was verified by the analyzes the region as privileged locus of ultramontane thought in Brazil.
