ResumoThe study of times and movements is aimed at determining the production capacity of a sector or production line.The analysis of the productive capacity and production processes of the plant is extremely important so that the waste of time and resources are avoided.In this sense, this research aimed to determine the standard time and the productive capacity of the cutting and tempering process of a glass company, through the study of times.The specific objectives of this research are related to the determination of the productive capacity to assist the management in the decision making and creation of daily goal.This research has an exploratory character, as it comes from a case study and was used as methodological resources of this article searches through bibliographic researches and articles available in event annals of the production engineering area.Technical visits were made to the company to learn about the production process, collect data and map it.Thus, the operation to be studied was determined.The operation studied was in the polishing sector of the glass tempering plant.
