Resumo

This article aims to reflectively present the process of restructuring the curricula of the course of formation of Physics Teachers at the Physics Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in compliance with Resolution CNE/CP 02/2015 of the MEC. We present and analyze throughout the text the official documents that generated the changes in the curricula and build a historical line of the movements that resulted in the changes, in addition to reflecting the challenges that were posed in the curriculum (re) construction process from the perspective of the different agents (managers, teachers and students). It is hoped that the experience narrated here can be useful to the process of reformulating other courses spread throughout Brazil, contributing not only to question the role of current legislation, but, above all, to reflect the complex power relations and challenges to the construction of an identity for the degree.
