Resumo

This research concerns the virtual reconstruction of a marble statue, in which a fragment was discovered during excavation work carried out in the 18th century at the antique site of Tipasa, then a virtual restitution of this statue in its original location. Owing to the photogrammetry technique and 3D modeling programs, three-dimensional models were created and a comparative study was done to find possible similarities between the fragment and the statue of Hercules exhibited in the museum of Cherchell which belonged to the same locality (Mauretania Caesariensis).
