Resumo

Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) is a major challenge to any TB control programme. This cross-sectional study recorded data about six important criteria related to the sociodemographic profile of 23 MDR TB patients at the Domjur block, India, in 2018, to find out the influences of these criteria on the occurrence of MDR TB in that block, during that time; the six criteria are: age, sex, religion, educational status, occupational status, and family income.
