ResumoThe Influence Of The Princesses In The Construction Of The Image Of The Feminine: Snow White, Its Original Story, Its Representations In The Films Of Disney And In The Contemporary MovieThe aim of this study is to analyze the influence of society's current values on the image of fairytale princesses and their representation of contemporary women's self -concept.An analysis of the Snow White character was made in view of the fairy-tale written by Brothers Grimm (1817-1822), the films produced by Disney Studios -Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and their re-reading -Snow White and the Hunter -produced by Universal Pictures (2012) in order to reflect on gender issues in different periods.The research finds show how the meaning of the feminine negotiated from the same cultural construct as the fairytale princesses, the relationship between the myth of the princess and the spirit of time and how women, today, are influenced and influence the image of this princess.The ideal self-concept, which in the present case we can call idealized, that
