ResumoSubcision is a simple surgical procedure for the management of depressed scars and wrinkles. It evolved over time with various modifications to simplify the procedure and increase its effectiveness. Wide bore subcision needles (20 G) are commonly used for this procedure. A common intraoperative problem during subcision is gushing of blood through the hub of the needle, which leads to soiling of gloves and treatment field. It may obscure the visibility of the treatment field and affect the outcome.
