Resumo

In this research, efforts have been made to explore and explain the role of Intranetware in rendering enterprise project management services to large and medium-sized organizations like governments, public sector and private sector organizations, their end users (top management/administrators/project managers/employees), and the various applications and utilities of Intranetware to increase productivity and decision support and cost-effective delivery of project information services. The study also focuses on how Intranetware can be used for critical evaluation of Intranet penetration in large organizations with IT infrastructure. It also discusses the need to build dedicated Project Management Infrastructure for medium to large-sized organizations. This research presents a new composition of in-depth analysis of technology-based management practices in project management by using discourse analysis of Intranet. For top management and project managers, Intranetware provides progress assessment, insight into the quality of an evolving project, and data for objective decision making. The research uses of a large banking organization as a case study.
