In order to break the bonds between past and present, the paradigm of the arts, see king to represent the identity character of the Brazilian nation. Thus was born the idea of heritage that is represented, symbolically, by language, by the colors, strokes, the monuments, the architectural formation of cities, among many other aspects. In this work, we think about modernism, its form of identity representation and the value that such elements extended to the current Brazilian art - in detail, architecture, starting from the work of Gregori Warchavchik, under the gaze of modernist Mario de Andrade so that this break meant a state of mind of Brazilian society.
